So why is the LshapedRoom so different, and how did it come about?
A small group of lesbian ladies were having dinner in Ireland one night and we decided to group our ideas together and create something very special for our lesbian community, somewhere for you ladies to explore. As we chatted, we agreed that every online dating site that we had previously visited was ideal for the boy/girl meetings or introductions. But there was nothing exclusive for ladies.
We know and there’s no point in denying it, how difficult it is trying to meet that special someone in this small and inquisitive island of ours!. We also appreciate that particularly, in rural areas, it remains such a taboo! We know there are those of you who are sitting at home, happily married but confused? Living with your boyfriend but there’s an attraction between you and that girl you met the other day? On your own, pretending to fancy every man on the street but secretly attracted to the girls? Established and 'out' but just coming out of a long term relationship and want to meet someone new? Or happy in a lesbian relationship but both of you just want new friends?
There are so many situations where the support of our community can help and that’s why we have come together to create a cosy environment for you to meet other ladies like yourself who just want to discover who exactly they are. Whether it’s friendship, a penpal, an email buddy, or maybe that special lady, you have come to the right place.
